No kids "D" is not for Dani this week!

We had the Best time with our great friends at "D" land. Jaden was picked to fight Darth Vader, Joey got some new sun glasses, and Tylei met with friends of her elite group (Ariel & Mini). Unfortunately Jaden will not be king of Camelot this year in particular. So many more memories yet to come with so more magical pictures... one including me eating pineapple ice cream.

P.S. My sister just informed me that i need to make this funny because people are counting on checking my blog and laughing... interesting and yet still no pressure. You can't hide charisma sis.

Ok so it was one of those night where you are jumping from blog to blog and you run onto a blog that you don't want to read about but your heart makes you. A picture catches your attention of a barbie sized hand with her daddy's ring around her wrist, being protected by his massive hands.. you have no choice because your compassion takes over and you already begin your silent prayer. Reading on your tears feel hot and your voice shakes even though you aren't praying or reading aloud. So my post is.. Why is it so easy to forget what other peoples trials can be. I love my life and always have. I love my situation in every aspect of my life. I want to be all of your best friends, I want to be His hands in those lives that need it, I want you to know that I love Him and would do anything to prove my love to Him for all that He has given me. I show no disrespect for titling "Him" as my Heavenly Father. My mom happened to recite a quote tonight that I love. "Decay doesn't happen at once." Do things right and leave no question! I will take that phrase with me in more than one situation of my life. Tonight I was polished by a sweet innocent hand held by her father and hope someday to be smooth: as to be everything that Heavenly Father wants me to become.

I'm trying to kill two birds with one stone! Work on digital pages and post so sure this page is almost a year behind but on the other hand that trip.... we introduced my little sisters to some Delta guys and they both have hit it off. One of them already engaged. Congrats Kaeli and Dougie!

Aren't good friends better than chocolate carmel brownies, white chocolate raspberry cheescake, puffed rice balls, moms cherry chocolates, maple bars, Megan Shaheens cookies, Kari's eclair cake, carmeled apples, muddy buddies, or fruit pizza! No they aren't.. but maybe with exception of Kari's eclair cake that nobody would even try on thanksgiving.

Lil Boyz are more than a handful! Why do the love making gun sounds all day everyday? Why do they love to wrestle knowing they or somone will get hurt? Why do they insist on being outside barefoot? Why does dirt around their mouth not bother them? How can they sleep in a bed of crumbs? Why won't they wipe down the toilet seat- including all ages of boys? Why do they love Starwars? ...but why as a mom do I melt and say yes when he asks as he is being tucked in bed, "Mom was I a good boy today?"

Dear countrymen lend me your EARS, hearts, whatever. I now feel pressure to evoke the greatest posts of all time, due to the hours of help my sister has given for helping me creating the new layout of my blog in which we can't figure out how to make my post bigger. However just in this three days alone I have spent aka: wasted what seems over half my life trying to figure this out. My mother taught that

"Nothing is waste that makes a memory"

however I teach

"Don't waste your memories!"

Hello We are back from the dead!!! Yeah right I wish... Wow have we been insanely and happily busy. Wade is Coaching and loving this year, he is having a lot of fun and yet had given a lot more to his team this year. I decided last minute to start up a preschool and it had been one of the greatest things i have done!! I am having so much fun teaching little Jaden and his pals. He is a smart little whip when he isn't giving everything to Star Wars III. They have all come so far and I couldn't be more tickled! Tylei is so dang cute and my right hand man and my lefthand and my brains and my secretary and my cleaner and my runner and my cooker and whatever she doesn't do My amazing husband does. I went out the other night for a break and get this came home to.... The house clean my favorite meal cooked (swedish meatballs and not from costco- hand made) The kids fed and in pajamas and the best part there was BANNANA BREAD JUST BEING PULLED OUT OF THE OVEN!!! Here is a shout out to all you fellas- you got some work to do!!!! I am madly in love with my life and will do my best to make yours as wonderful as mine.. its good to be back.

New York- New York

Here is some fun pictures of the travels and memories we made on our trip back East.

It was a great expirence but after a plane ride like we had I won't be leaving home anytime soon... We circled in the air three times making our trip two hours longer, I threw up in a small barf bag 9 times yes 9 times not to mention we almost ran out of gas which left the pilots thinking we would make an emergency land in Conneticut- then after arriving in New York we still had a conncecting flight to Buffalo where we spent the night at Bron and Megans home, which by the way was darling.. thanks.

Here is the beautiful Statue of Liberty. While we were there My mom taught me the poem that Emma Lazarus wrote of Lady Liberty, which is engraved on the foot of the statue.

These next photos are some of my favorites... The memorable walk we made up the Brooklyn Bridge.

In New York we ate well, two of my favorite places was this delicious place on the pier and the other BUBBA GUMP SHRIMP in which we didn't have the camera for, you all know are family loves shrimp!
Wade Grandpa and Jaden went to a Yankees game and to Fenway to a Boston game they said Fenway was unreal and had a great time. So for all of you that know my Dad (die hard Boston hater-Yankee lover) well get a load of this pict. What?- he is even wearing Boston apparel, can you say TRAITOR.

While the boys went to games the girls went to Boroadway plays. Grandma and Dani went to Lion King (amazing) and Tylei and Dani went to Little Mermaid (absolutely a must see). It was so fun.

On our trip we had many Jadenisims like: *Mom how do you turn black? *(After eating pink cotton candy) Why are my hands turning red- I must be turning into spider man. *(In the Sacred Grove) Why won't anybody listen to me.. I need somebody to help me say a prayer so I can see Heavenly Father!

We went to Sleepy Hollow and crossed the bridge that was written of Ichabod Crain and the Headless Horseman.

Now on to Washington DC and Philadelphia...

We got to see a lot of neat things in this building, some of my favorites were the Gutenberg Bible, the first maps that were made of the world, the quiet room, and Jefferson's library of books. A place we were anticipating to visit for a long time. It was absolutely amazing and a place so perfect for such a divine event. My testimony of the restoration of the Gospel and of Joseph Smith was already established before visiting this site but was neat to have literally walked those sacred places. It does make me more aware of Heavenly Fathers personal love for all of us and that he is no respecter of persons but can reveal himself to those that are worthy and seek him. A couple quick questions Do you have to condition your infants hair? Do you spend more time on your infants hair than your own? Do you know what it is like to brush through eight rats nests? Does super conditioning mean more to your infant than her bottle? Instead of a favorite toy, does your baby play with a favorite comb or brush? Do you as a mother have anxiety of what kind of bed head you will arise to in the morning? Do you even understand what bed head is? Has your child been given the nick name Donald Trump and not because your filthy rich? Do you even know what a flap is? Do you purposely not leave town in fear of how Dad will try and do the child's hair in your absence?***Just thought I would ask.*******

My little baby girl that I brought home 6 years ago isn't so little. Everyone experiences this, I know, but it still is so new for me. I remember like yesterday giggling and kissing her little neck as she would roll up and giggle back. The memories are wonderful and priceless but each day I get to share with her are breathtaking especially when I take the time to really think about her. Tylei Jensen is something special in our family, she loves anything that takes her away from the mundane life mom leads and is so patient at that. Tylei loves playing with electronic devices such as cell phones, i pods, digital cameras, and laptops, so my suggestion is hide them from her. She loves singing primary songs, eating shrimp, and my personal favorite looking at her self in the mirror when she cries (it cracks me up). Tylei would never hurt anybody's feelings and that is the honest truth. She is athletic and never lets us parents down especially since it is a passion of ours. She is absolutely beautiful, inside and out, and hope with all our power she had a terrific birthday!

OK so I'm trying something that should keep me busy and not laying around so much (ha as if I got that luxury) Ok so I need all of your participation in this... I want to play a little game that I am making up called "Being Served" You must perform a service for someone and then respond to me and I have to match that service. I have 10 days to do so otherwise I have to serve you at that same service you did for someone else. The service has got to be realistic like I can't match a 300 dollar gift to a fundraiser, it has got to be something I really can accomplish. It also can't be matching a meal if someone called you from the relief society it has to be your own service on your own time. Ok lets put ourselves to the test! Ps I can't do this forever so depending on how many of you try playing depends on when I give up hah. Im excited. BRING IT!

I don't quite know if it is spring or just the realization of how truly blessed I am. I am thankful to a Heavenly Father for my healthy family, for friends and many friends who are so kind and unselfish I would begin by naming names but would be so hurt at myself if I left any out. I love the little tender moments that God gives us to help reshape ourselves and put life into perspective even if they are from someonelses tragedies, trials, or blessings. I love my husband who serves me and tends to my wants and needs. I love the age of my children now and already feel the sadness of the future looking back on only photos to see their chubby cheeks and their blue eyes that seem to take up half of their faces. I truly cry in gratitude and humility that I might be the mother, wife, and friend to all of you that you have been to me. "Oh what a wonderful world".

May I highly recommend not getting your Gal Bladder out!!! I think this was a couple weeks of sacrifice for everyone including baby Joey- she didn't understand why mom won't pick her up and has taken a new love to Dad. It had been really tough on me of course. I often think about how hard it is to do the mom thing sometimes and then reality hits and I'm taken from that blessing and would give anything to be back doing the mom thing. Not that Dad didn't do a great job especially when I had to convince him (two days worth of convincing) that its best Joey has a nap when she is tired instead of keeping the poor infant up so that she would sleep through the night for him. Oh we love our Dad, don't we children...

Thank you to so many of you who helped us in our time of need. I have always known the caliber of friends and family I have, and so THANK YOU from the bottom of my heart even to my own little family who sacrificed the little things.

SC Girls Basketball

Well most of you know we were out of town for the week while participating in the 4A basketball tounament in Salt Lake. We had a great time and Wades team did well but unfortunately were beat in the semifinals by Skyview the team that ended up winning the whole thing. Wades team this year was an amazing one and so fun. The girls were so darling and really great girls we will miss the seniors so much. The kids had a great time swimming and another highlight was the service project we did on their day off. We went to the boys and girls club in Murray and spent some time whith the children it was great and we count our blessings. There will be an article written in the newspaper on it on Feb 25th tuesday.
We are so excited to get back to our regular life, basketball is very time consuming and yet rewarding.

How many of you remember the Carol Bernett show and the little old man that walked one inch per thirty steps he took, well our sweet little dainty Joey performs that same sequence of action only she is CRAWLING. She has been so happy since and it is fun to see where her little body takes her. She especially perfers the tile floor, I think because I never set her on it before in fear of her bonking.

An Education at Sunset Bowl

After weeks and weeks of the kids begging to go bowling we decided to take them. It was a lot of fun and the kids expirenced a lot in that hour we were there. I don't know if any of you have been to the bowling alley recently but the children were "educated" if you know what I mean. Jaden at one point crossed the do not cross line and could understand why he couldn't get back up on his feet to make his way back to his fathers loving arms and away from his mothers screaming phrase of, "Jaden I told you 3 times you can't cross that line" anyways needless to say Wade barley beat Tylei useing the excuse that he played with his left hand in which I then reminding him that he IS LEFT HANDED!
